First Clinic at Felixstowe!

Back in Feb I ran my first Swim Smooth clinic, in Cambridge, with fellow SS coach, Gavin Prior. It went really well and was a great learning experience, giving me the impetus to run my own here at Felixstowe. Sunday 13 May it was, a really full (11:00-18:00), full-on and fulfilling day! Five participants booked on, including John & Tessa from north Norfolk, Amanda, Clive and Conrad from the Felixstowe area. We had over 2 hours in the pool in two sessions, the first involving filming of each of the 5 swimmers. In the studio we went over the key principles of efficient freestyle swimming, swim types and of course, recorded a detailed 15min analysis of each swimmer. The group gelled brilliantly and were a pleasure to work with. And the leisure centre were flexible and helpful hosts. Such a successful day, I'll be running another one later this year...
